Nordic Growth acted as the sell-side financial advisor in the transaction whereby Suomen Rengas-Heikki Oy was acquired by Lapin Kumi on 31 October 2025.
Suomen Rengas-Heikki Oy is one of Finland’s leading independent retailers of passenger car tires and wheels. The company offers a comprehensive range of tire-related services, including tire changes, repairs, balancing, and tire hotel/storage services. Founded in 1999, the company has established a strong market position, particularly in the Oulu region.

Lapin Kumi is one of Finland’s leading tire service chains. Founded in Rovaniemi in 1947, the company has been operated by the Ruokanen family for three generations. Today, the company is led by CEO Ville Ruokanen, who continues the family’s entrepreneurial legacy. Lapin Kumi is part of Citira, which is backed by Nordic private equity firm Norvestor.

Rengas-Heikki has been known for its excellent work in the Oulu area for decades. The acquisition further strengthens Lapin Kumi’s position in the Finnish tire service market and supports the company’s long-term growth strategy, particularly in Northern Finland.
