Champion Door Oy is a globally leading manufacturer of massive industrial fabric fold-up doors. Its products are particularly suited for demanding environments such as aircraft hangars, port warehouses, and the mining industry, where requirements for thermal and sound insulation, safety, and operational reliability are critical.
The sellers were the family business shareholders Pekka Hosio, Mika Hosio, and Marja Vaartamo. In addition, a significant investor, the local Pohjanmaan Arvo cooperative, which supports a wide range of local businesses, sold its share in the transaction.

The sale is part of a strategy to promote Champion Door’s international growth. With this acquisition, BMP strengthens its foothold in the market for large lifting doors. Operations in Nivala will continue as before.
