Pentep is one of the largest independent heavy vehicle tire retread companies in Finland with manufacturing facilities in Parola, Finland. Pentep was founded as a family company owned by the second generation during the transaction. Pentep manufacturing services allow for the re-use of old worn-out tires once the Company`s Bandag and Marangoni retread materials are installed to the old tire frame. With services that increase the useful life of the tire, Pentep helps in its own way to reduce the carbon footprint of the transport industry. With high customer satisfaction and world class quality, Pentep has emerged as a leader in its niche field.
This acquisition expands Colmec AB:s hold on the Finnish market and allows Pentep to take the next steps in growth as part of a bigger organization. Teppo Vekka will continue as CEO of Pentep.
